Droplet LP3.1 is designed to offers most of the Liu+ST100 combo's qualities in a cheaper, smaller and more pleasing entry- level compact package. As a surprisingly affordable version of the award winning Droplet LP5.0 turntable, the turntable inherited the precision stainless steel bearing, German AC motor drive system from Droplet LP5.0 turntable, and one-piece machined black acrylic platter from Liu, only fitted with smaller Droplet shape Multilayer sub chassis to offer amazing value of money.

Followed with liu's concept of structure, double graphite rings hold the spindle of bearing, of both Droplet LP3.1 turntable & teamed ST100 tone-arm, working as a sandwich hard damping system. The whole system sits on 3 stainless steel adjustable balancing feet to ensure the deck is precisely level.

Stainless steel bearing achieved watch grade precision(±0.1mm) and finish. It's a floatation bearing design that suspends the platter on a high rigidity industrial ceramic ball bearing and a high rigidity industrial ceramic cushion to reduce friction.
