Cyber880AM Mono block power amplifiers

The Cyber880AM is push-pull in parallel mono block amplifier, with eight 2A3 direct-heated triode tubes, 45W power output and four 5AR4 rectifying tubes. The amp has simple to use bias meter tube pots that make it easy to maintain tube life and provides you with the ability for more stable and balance operation. The meter is face mounted for easier monitoring of the 2A3 tubes at any time. This amplifier has a amazing musical sound and enough power to drive most speakers.

In the beginning, the idea to produce the Cyber880AM was a special option for an Australia customer, now it has become an official product. The following is his analysis,

I am impressed by Consonance products, especially the Cyber10s and the Cyber880A, The point of me it can not solve all my wants for a more powerful amplifier to drive my loudspeaker, so I ask a request to Consonance if it is possible to design a pair of monoblocks using the 880A chassis with 8 full music 2A3 tubes per side, and tube rectification. Then I got answer it is not a short program, we have to take patience to waiting, anyway, I appreciate this is not a “Ready by tomorrow” project, I accept they will be ready when they are ready.

When developing the Cyber880AM we used B&W801speakers which are a typical recording studio reference standards.
